The 2nd edition of ASPIRE4SPORT, the International Sports Congress & Exhibition, will take place in and around the stunning ASPIRE Dome in Doha's Sports City on November 12-15, 2011.
ASPIRE4SPORT is the only event of its kind in the Middle East, fully dedicated to sports and the sports industry, and has firmly established itself as the premium regional platform to market expertise and solutions related to the sector.
ASPIRE4SPORT 2011 will bring together top sports experts and spokespersons under the ASPIRE Dome for 4 days of business, debate and entertainment, creating unique opportunitiesfor them to network with their peers, demonstrate the latest technologies and advances in the industry, and discuss the future of sports in multicultural exchanges.
In 2010, ASPIRE4SPORT attracted over 3,000 professional sports business people and globally recognized sporting legends. Now, the stage is set for the 2011 edition to welcome an even larger number of international representatives come to honor traditions across all major sports worldwide.

Home for the Aged at Nagao Verna to be renovated Verna, Salcete Goa India : The Home for the Aged belonging to the Sisters of St Joseph of Cluny at Nagao Verna is all set to get a new look, thanks to the renovation plans. The home for the elderly, which has been functioning since 1962, was long due for up gradation. The Sisters of St Joseph of Cluny are now planning to increase the intake capacity of the inmates from the existing 25 to 66. “At present we have 25 inmates and we want to extend our service to our needy senior brothers and sisters. We plan to build single, double and dormitory accommodation for 66 inmates,” said Sister Nanette Temudo, Sister Superior, Home for the Aged, Nagao Verna. “The present facilities available here are inadequate to serve better.
